I originally planned to go to South Korea for one month, but due to last minute decisions, I decided to take the opportunity to visit Taiwan for two weeks, so my trip in South Korea only lasted two weeks.
We could say two weeks is still a good timeframe, but when you travel without private transportation, it takes more time to go to a specific place. I had to readjust my plans.
So I followed my new motto :
Take it easy. Keep it simple. Listen to your feelings.
This is how I ended with a very simple program.
I landed in Busan, enjoyed local food, cycled from a beach to another, watched people taking long walks on the sandwall.
Then I went for one week on Jeju Island, where I walked a lot, ate sashimis, encountered several great people, hiked across Hallasan mountain, saw volcanic formations.
Finally, direction Seoul for 5 days. A wonderful mix of authentic and modernity.
I had some fun there, but in this city, and at this moment, I wished I had a friend to discuss with.
